The 2007.5 and newer Dodge Ram trucks powered by the Cummins 6.7L turbo diesel engine now has a crankcase vent filter installed as a part of the emissions control system. This CCV filter or Breather Element location is on the top of the motor under the dress cover.

Chrysler mandates a change interval for the CCV breather element of 67,500 miles or at the time when the overhead message appears. We very strongly recommend a shorter change interval of 45,000 to 50,000 miles. The shorter change interval of this breather element is because the CCV breather tube routing goes to the turbo inlet. KLM Performance recommends this shorter change interval to help minimize oil vapor from coating the turbo compressor wheel. Owners of the Dodge Cummins 6.7L now know that changing this Mopar Crank Case Vent Filter in your Dodge Ram 6.7L Cummins engine at a lower service interval is money well spent.

The Mopar 68005162AA 6.7L Cummins Crankcase Breather Gasket is a recommended service item that may require replacement at the time of your Mopar 68002433AC CCV Crankcase Vent Filter change. This gasket is considered a wear item that is vital to ensure no oil leaks for the top of the motor.

Do not ignore the message being displayed on the overhead console! This message is letting you know the Crankcase Vent Filter is now full and must be changed immediately.

Product Warranties

  • 101 Diesel honors all manufacturer warranties
  • Any product that carries a manufacturer's warranty must be warrantied through its respective manufacturer
  • Installed components which have failed, such as, turbo, injectors, injection pumps, etc., must be removed/shipped back to its manufacturer for inspection before replacement
  • 101 Diesel is not responsible for shipping products to manufacturers for inspection or the return shipping to the end user
  • Labor time is not paid by 101 Diesel
  • Manufacturers will only pay labor if stated in the manufacturer’s warranty
  • All products manufactured by 101 Diesel carry a one year manufacturer defect warranty

Orders placed on 101 Diesel take approximately 24-48 business hours (i.e., Monday-Friday, Pacific Standard Time) to process before they are ready for shipment. During promotions, holidays, and the months of November & December this processing time may be longer.

Once an order has shipped, you will receive an email notification of the shipment, as well as the estimated delivery date and tracking number. The carriers that Osmo uses (FedEx & USPS) take 24 business hours to update their tracking status.

Generally, the transit time for standard, ground shipping in the U.S. is 5-7 business days, except during the months of November, December, and early January, when shipping volumes are at their peak.

101 Diesel sends three emails regarding the order status, in this order: 1) order confirmation, 2) order shipment confirmation, and 3) order delivery confirmation. The order shipment confirmation includes the carrier and tracking details. These emails are sent to the address indicated on the order.

NO, we do ship to P.O. boxes and APO/FPO addresses due to package size restriction. Please provide a physical address we will have your order send out with FedEx or UPS.

Orders placed on 101 Diesel shipping via ground are handed off to USPS, UPS, FedEx, or a combination of those carriers.
We do not offer expedited shipping options at the moment.

We accept returns of unused products within 30 days of shipping, except on custom-tuned products.
All core, general and warranty returns must be approved prior to the shipment of the returning product. Upon approval, you will be granted a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number that will tie your return shipment to the return request. This will help us to process your return quickly.
